I'll start my diet on the 24th ... I'm thinking to buy Adkins shakes or the powder whey protein and make my own shakes ... I think the powder way is cheaper :)

Just left my last preop counseling appointment and I'm waiting to get my preop blood work done!!! Aaaaaahhhhhh im excited!!! Finally less than a month away (jan 13). Only lost 5 lbs - but losing is losing nonetheless (losing in a good way :-))

So excited for all of us :)

Gonna start a blog on youtube and will post a link

Hi all! I have been approved but won't get a date till next Friday. Surgery coordinator said I'm looking at second week of January!

Newly posting, reading & enjoying for awhile. Cigna insurance approval received. Surgery date January 20th & the waiting is hard but exciting. Love this community so much. Surgery at NMH in Chicago with Dr. E. Hungness. Happy to know I'm not alone.

My date is 21 January, at Mi hospital in Tijuana. Dr. Lopez is doing the sleeve.

I'm so excited! I'm getting sleeved January 20 by Dr. alejandro lopez in Tijuana, Mexico! He operates out of Hospital MI Doctor if anyone else is going to be there! Let's meet up!

Hello, I get sleeved by him on the 21st of Jan. So, we can certainly meet up. I live in Cinti but will fly to san diego on the 20th

Not to discourage you, while in the phone with a consultant or whoever arranges everything they told me that Dr. Lopez leaves a tube in your stomach and you go back to the motel and the next day his assistant cones to the motel to remove it, also my cousin has done a lot of research she also did hers in Mexico but paid twice as much with the top Doctor. Dr. Lopez fits in as many surgeries in one day as he can and when you're done he's done and that's scary he also don't have the qualities of the two doctors in the same practice as him. If you can change your doctor please do and go with Cabrrera however it's spelled.

Its alright for someone to give info but I don't think its fair to say to go to another specific Dr. There are lots of those in tj

It's normal to leave a drain in. I've been told Dr. Lopez does a max of 4 surgeries a day. You spend 2 nights in the hospital and 2 at the hotel. I also have done tons of research and nothing of what you have written has changed my mind.

I did a lot of research and I found only great things about Dr Lopez...and a drain is normal I'll be there on the seventh :) anyway wherever I go I know I'm in Gods hands God bless you all :) :)

As of now I know all the doctors for what research i've done so to me they are all the same I never met any of them so if Dr Lopez has great reviews and is within my budget WHY PAY MORE???!!! I can't wait... this is going to change my life ... I'm so excited :) :) :)
