  17. I had the same thing! I was told it was most likely the anesthesia working out of my body, the nurse told me it can take from 60 -90 days to completely leave your body. Advised to drink as much water as possible, shower with warm not hot water, Dove or Aveno soap and quickly follow up with Aveno moisture lotion. It does go away eventually. Best wishes!

  21. I would love to join this group. MFP is great but it works best if you have a goal oriented group for support, inspiration and motivation. So happy I finally found this thread. I'm a 2 month sleever and I want to be as successful as possible at my second chance. MFP name is Sofab007.

  25. Today's my day! Waiting for my surgeon in the pre-op bay.
  26. I applaud you for your courage to inform others to be aware of this Physician & facility shenanigans. I think sometimes they lose focus of our need & desire to change our lives for the better because they are under the delusion of the "god complex". Keep up the good fight & best wishes to finding the right physician for you.

  30. I think that's a great idea about the abd binder. I have one from a previous surgery. I think I'll pull it out.
  31. New to the group. Surgery scheduled for January 20th in Chicago at Northwestern Hosp. Cigna approved, pre-op testing & last class set for 1/7 & endoscopy set for 1/6. Whew! A little nervous about the pre-op diet but excited for the outcome of all this. Anyone else out there with similar info at this stage? My surgeon will be Dr. E. Hungness. I'd like to hear from you.
