December 2013 Sleever Pounds Lost Log

At the suggestion of a fellow sleever (thanks DeezJeans) I'm starting a post-op success story thread. This can be a 'numbers' thread...when you do your weigh in's, you can post your pounds lost here, and we can keep a running total. We can use this thread JUST for pounds lost!

Looking forward to the thousands of pounds we WILL be losing!

Here's what we would like to do. Please send me a private message with your goal pounds lost. (Meaning, if your goal is to lose 150 pounds, just jot that down in a quick private message and send that to me.)

Then we will compile all the pounds from everyone who wants to participate, and post the full amount, and then work towards those goals with weekly updates. We will be recording those pounds lost AFTER surgery!

You will still post your pounds lost on this forum here so we can Celebrate all of your victories (and I will keep track of them on my trusty spreadsheet, and then report the weekly pounds lost)

If you have any questions, please let me know!

I'm only 5'2. I'm a really shortie. Everyone wants me to stop losing weight however my ultimate goal is 115. I'm very pleased however I'm afraid of how easy I gain weight and go up and down on the scale so easily

----

Yes I'm happy too with my progress, but fearful of gaining as I have pre wls days. Oreos and crackers go down my sleeve incredibly easy ????????

Just about everything goes down easy and I eat all the time, good and bad. I also exercise alot so that's probably why I have such a large appetite

Hi! I'm just stopping by to say hi. I've been so busy lately. I haven't had the chance to check in. As far as WL goes, almost a year out and things are slowing down. I weighed myself Monday and and I'm hoovering around 174. I'll do a real weigh in on Saturday and check back in.

How was the first Thanksgiving for everyone?

I eat quite a bit too these days I think due to my intense workouts (hot yoga, power yoga, Pilates, barre and spin) some days I'm over 2000 calories easily and sad to say a couple times I went over 3000 ???????????????????????????? but those were days where eating started at midnight and ended at 11pm???? including "bad" Oreos and rich protein cookies - I have to be careful but I'm thankful with my activity level and the muscle tone I've built thus far. Still can't eat much meat at one time- literally only a few bites before I get "full" or a little uncomfortable ????

See comment above - I quoted the wrong response ????

Thanksgiving went pretty well - I took a spin class that same morning because I knew I wasn't going to deprive myself of my very own homemade baked goods (New York style cheesecake and carrot cake with cream cheese icing ????) I had a tiny bit of just about everything (ham, lamb, chicken, collards, stuffing, sweet potato, turkey stew, mushrooms) and I just nibbled on my plate for a few hours ???????????? I got in under 1700 calories for the entire day. I track routinely on my fitness pal app. So Proud of me! How was your 1st turkey day?

I started my preop diet 1 year ago today. I couldn't be more thrilled with where I am today....mentally, emotionally and physically. I posted my story and pictures here.....

No change this week but that's fine. I can't believe one year ago this week I was right in the middle of my two-week liquid diet! Wow! How time flies!!

No change, but I'm supposedly in maintenance so I guess I'm not supposed to change. I've definitely increased my calorie intake but also increased my level of exercise. While my weight is remaining somewhat constant, my size 34 pants are fitting loosely so something is going on.

I go up and down a pound but seem to land on 166.x most of the time.

Same here. I've been in the same 3-4 pound range for 3 months and nothing else has changed. But my size 7 jeans have gotten looser and looser (which is fine since I wear long underwear to work everyday). But I finally just bought a pair of 5/6 pants to wear for "occasions" so people will quit telling me my pants are too baggy.

Stayed the same :-(

Hi everyone!

Sorry, I'm a little late for this week's numbers...(meetings all day so far). Without further delay, here we go:

I have 16 current folks (meaning they have reported at some point in the last month)

Total pounds to lose goal: 2079.8

Total pounds lost to date: 1897.4

We're at 91% of our goal!

Congratulations and Happy Surgiversary to everyone who is celebrating their year anniversary! Mine is later this week! Can't wait to do the official numbers and measurements!

Have a great week everyone!
