here is my xray i had done today on my lapband/plication during a barium swallow...dr said it was a textbook lap band picture and this made me happy....i am doing well at 17 months post op..down another 2 pounds since weigh in last week--whoop whoop

so here is my xray

10826731473_f48f3768f6.jpg

dr showed me xray of someone whose pouch was stretched and it looked like a balloon on top of the band...they said for that to happen, a person must overeat a lot and past the point of pain/hurting..and due to non compliance of the amount they eat..mainly patient fault..this is from my dr.. so dont do that ok...i saw it and it looked painful as hell......

and frankly...we went through a lot to have surgery...stupid to not follow your dr's rules

This is great! Love the "textbook" part. In other words, perfect.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
