You're not cheap! My two pairs were $16 and $25 respectively. costco and Target. I'm saving Nordstrom or somewhere nice for a more stable period, down the road.

Thanks Fluff maybe I'm just a "careful" shopper. But since buying new pants the $25 were the most expensive. I bought a pair of cargo type pants at Walmart for $9 and leggings $14 at Costco. Thats it and I've been switching off between these 3. I need something a little dressier for Christmas but having been trying to find the right length for the right price. I just got Macy's Friends and Family pass starting on Wednesday and hopeful to find a few more options then. I think since loosing this weight I am so pleased with how my 3 pant options look that I don't need to keep buying like I did in the past trying to find those magical pair of pants that made me look thin.

I've had to spend money on work clothes but my husband is buying me expensive brands from goodwill, withl tags. For my daily clothes? 2 pairs of jeans, $20 each from Walmart (lee riders) several colorful tshirts from walmart ($8/piece). You're not cheap--or if you are, we all are. I think it's only sensible.

I did buy bras and panties from macys but on sale so they were $15/piece for bras and 6 panties for like $20.

As I've said before, I think I look a lot better in my $30 outfit than I ever did when heavy and wearing suits worth hundreds of dollars

Ross Dress for Less, TJ Maxx,Burlington Coat Factory, etc have cheapo prices and everything from high end brands to low quality. Jeans are harder to find but all other clothes-great bargains. At ross I pay under10 for a top and under 12 for a dress.

IF I buy new stuff (I'm a thrift store lover) I will do the sales at JC Penny's or Macy's - some of those sales are phenomenal. I'm also a fan of the Old Navy clearance rack!! I try not to spend over $20 on ANYTHING ... I'm cheap that way, LOL!

On jeans - I am having a hard time finding skinny jeans I like! If they fit around the waist they're too big in the legs and if they fit in the legs the fit weird on the waist! Anyone else have this problem?

After paying out of pocket for PS, I have to shop on the sales rack too. Kinda makes me feel like I am beating the system! Smile!

Okay, I am having a hard time visualizing what you're saying. Are you saying your waist is bigger than your legs or vice versa? Sorry…

I think my problem is opposite: I have an hourglass shape. But in case this is what you're saying, the brands that work best for me are Levi's, Denizen (essentially also Levi's), Calvin Klein, and occasionally Gloria Vanderbilt (at Costco.) GV tends to look like mom jeans to me as the waist is higher, but I figure right now that's good for holding in the jiggly. I have issues with some of the skinny jean cuts in that they just don't fit my calves.

One of my friends who is built more straight up and down than I am swears by Lee jeans; I think she gets them at Kohl's. But I don't know if they have a skinny jean style.

One other suggestion although I know it is an expensive one is Not Your Mother's Jeans (not sure if that's the exact name) from Nordstrom. I know they have skinny jeans and they're spandex heavy so they work on a lot of figures. But they are not cheap!

I have skinny calves, even when I was fat my calves and ankles were about the only thing on me not fat.. My hips are 9" bigger then my waist so I can fit many brands except for onelittle problem... I have a very high waist/long torso and yet I HATE the high waisted mom jeans. Those jeans from costco make me feel like I am in my 70s or something...LOL

I find that a mid rise looks like a low rise on me so it is a balancing act of trying to look current, yet not ridiculous...lol. Actually, I have found some jeggings/treggings that hit me just right and they go good with winter boots so I have a solution for now.

Treggings are just like jeggings (stupid name if you ask me) only treggings look more like trousers whereas jeggings are made to look like jeans.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
