Today I am Day 3 post-op! I barely slept the night before, so last night I slept on the couch so I could be more upright and easier to get on and off the couch. So last night, I thought I was going to throw up. I had crushed and taken my meds (zantac, singulair, and claritin) and the oxycodin (liquid) all before bed. That's when the feeling started. Does anyone else have a problem with crushed medicine? I found that I am better as long as I keep the binder on really tight and I don't lean back at all.

I get nauseous if I take too many pills at once. I space them out a bit. Yeah sleep is hard to come by the first few days but it gets better quick. I've been sleeping in bed since day 4 with the help of my pain meds (on my back with extra pillows). Hang in there friend!

I really need to sleep :( My "help" is leaving this morning, I am home by myself with my 2 little kids tonight, and I'm working from home so I can keep my paycheck. I'll try spacing them out tonight. I really hope that helps!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
