  1. Haven't been able to log on here since the change of names.. start weight 198.8 as of this AM, down 6.4 lbs to go: 7.4 lbs
  2.    Miss_T reacted to a post in a topic: body pump
  3. Pre-surgery I attended Les Mills body pump classes and loved it. I am 3 weeks post op. The next session starts next week. Is it too soon to go back?
  4. Never done one on here before... CW - 198.8 GW - 185 at Thanksgiving (trying to be realistic) Will be at stage 4 food then.
  5. bigsleeve, glad I could give you a laugh today Sometimes it is a good idea for to get away from them for awhile and leave them to babysit!

  7. I'm the same way when I go visit my in-law's (or they come here). It's all "where are we going to eat" and "when are we going".... everything is food centered! Because of that, I still do my exercise, and I do not change my schedule just because they are visiting. I have to adjust what I do when I'm at their house, but I still do something.
  8. Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! I'm going to keep doing what the Dr says and drink fluids.
  9. PdxMan, I am around 350 - 500 calories/day since home on Tuesday.
  10. Good Morning, I am post-op day 5 today (which is also my birthday!). I have a lot to Celebrate today! I went in to Fitbit to see my progress and noticed that my weight day of surgery is less than today's weight by 5 lbs. Is this normal? Thanks for reading and replying. sjs
  11. I was discharged at Day 1. Wanted to stay until Day 2, I didn't think I was ready.
  12. I really need to sleep My "help" is leaving this morning, I am home by myself with my 2 little kids tonight, and I'm working from home so I can keep my paycheck. I'll try spacing them out tonight. I really hope that helps!
  13. Today I am Day 3 post-op! I barely slept the night before, so last night I slept on the couch so I could be more upright and easier to get on and off the couch. So last night, I thought I was going to throw up. I had crushed and taken my meds (zantac, singulair, and claritin) and the oxycodin (liquid) all before bed. That's when the feeling started. Does anyone else have a problem with crushed medicine? I found that I am better as long as I keep the binder on really tight and I don't lean back at all.
  14. DreamBig, I was in your spot 2 days ago. Anxious, nervous, and excited all wrapped together. My surgery was to start at 10:15, then I got pushed back due to a trauma emergency. It made my day even longer. Hang in there, don't be afraid to take pain meds and try to walk. Prayers for everyone who are making these decisions everyday.
  15. Me too please! Sleeved Oct 6th. staceyjburns@gmail.com
  16. I am on a few pills that I need to take crushed. Is it better to mix with water or just crush and swallow? I am day 2 post op. I mixed with water tonight and now I feel very bloated.
