Been out of surgery for a few hours now..doing ok..I have been for walk...I feel your pain on the bloating..for a while there I felt like I was going to explode. .so far the bloating has been the worst part

Hopefully it's not a fluke but today I had some energy back! Lol walked a lot more, went to a dr appt, grocery store, and out to chilis for lunch with my grandma and sister and had some soup. Smelled awesome and worked out well. Even folding clothes and making dinner for the fam. I hope it's not just a weird thing that happens just today and I wake up tomorrow tired lol. Getting some hope of getting my life back. Down 21pounds and 15 days post op. my loose pants are not holding up anymore. Today was a great day!

Hopefully everyone else is doing good, congrats on the surgeries today!

Hope you are feeling okay. I was thinking about you and TT and his wife. My surgery is Thursday, rny, gallbladder and hyatial hernia repair. It's one stop surgery here. I wish you all the best. Keep us all posted.

When they say you can walk around. .even if it hurts a little. .walk around...it helps tremendously with the gas and bloating

I've been in pain...hurts when I breath in...I did get out of my bed on my own but I haven't walked...I'm going to attempt to in alittle while (they want my pain undercontrol first)...the staff is very nice..I got a pretty pillow to jold my stomach with when I cough etc...can't eat or drink till my swallow study in morning...my mouth is SO dry...

Mine is the 27th as well. Have to be at the hospital at 6:15 for a 7:45 surgery. We have to leave my house at 5! Keep telling myself this is SO worth it. I've lost 7 pounds in 7 days on this semi-liquid diet the surgeon has me on for 2 weeks prior.

We are both doing good.. Have terrible gas pains though... They give us a chewable every 4 hours for gas cause we were told were not able to use our gasx here ( sigh ) so..as of right now so far so good.. Just wish I could get just a little bit of sleep .. Hard when you fight through gas pain and once you fall asleep .. Someone wakes you up for something.. LoL

One other thing right off the bat my left side hurts the worse... However I have been alternating laying on my sides holding a pillow.. It helps a lot

All I know is I'm so glad to be on the losers bench and looking forward to wonderland

T-T is a female, as well as her wife lol!

I get to have my first protein shake at 5:30 no more oral swabs and sipping water.

My surgery is in Marquette, Mi with dr English for. Next Tuesday...I'm so excited, I start all liquids tomorrow
