Can anyone maybe help me? I been feeling GREAT but all day today if I move funny or stretch my leg or anything my left rib cage burns so bad and I can't breath it hurts sooo bad. It's the only "pain" I'm having but idk if its normal!!! I've had bad back pain on left side where my kidney is since surgery and that's gone away but now it's my ribs burning on left aide no matter what I do idk if I should wait till Tuesday for my dr apt or go to ER

Go to Er or call advice nurse just to be sure. If nothing else call dr first thing Monday morning!!!

My wife and I arrived at the hospital and checked in together ... We however will not be in the same room due to the fact we have similar names and have a name alert.. They don't want any mistakes .. We both got our Iv's and regular check up stuff .. Now I guess we chill for a few hours.. Will keep you posted..

Good luck everyone!!

My wife is in surgery and I'm getting set to go soon... They gave us a few meds to relax us while we waited.. One included medical marajuna Pills and the other Xanax ... Our pain killer is Percocet for a short time and will be switched to tylenol

So that's it for now.. Just waiting.. Will post again when I'm alert!

So my surgery is the day after tomorrow. I'm feeling so excited and anxious. So far I've visited friends, cleaned my apartment, and watched movies to keep my mind busy. So so excited!

My pain is on the left at my rib too. Right to the one incision that still hurts. The doctor told me that was the bigger and the one that held the camera and stuff and its common. But definitely call to ease your mind.

We are both doing good.. Have terrible gas pains though... They give us a chewable every 4 hours for gas cause we were told were not able to use our gasx here ( sigh ) so..as of right now so far so good.. Just wish I could get just a little bit of sleep .. Hard when you fight through gas pain and once you fall asleep .. Someone wakes you up for something.. LoL

One other thing right off the bat my left side hurts the worse... However I have been alternating laying on my sides holding a pillow.. It helps a lot

All I know is I'm so glad to be on the losers bench and looking forward to wonderland

Had my surgery this morning...took 3 hrs and stood in recovery for over 2 hrs...foundout I'm allergic to fentalyn...and there gonna give me dilaudiad( spelt wrong)...in a lot of pain on left size and my incisions are not small (6 of them)..
