I had my surgery 8/5/13. I'm glad to find all these Aug. surgery dates!

I ended up back in the hospital due to a blockage that wouldn't let the gas pass and it put me in alot of pain to where I couldn't do anything.. Finally they decided to try a suppository and after 40 minutes it actually worked and ohhh was I relived but then I was now having bloody stool so now I'm being monitored all night to make sure I'm not bleeding inside!! I just wanna go home and join my wife.. Nothing like taking this journey together and now were separated and she's doing it on her own!!

Will keep you posted and hopefully I will go home tomorrow

I had my surgery yesterday. Now I'm on the losers bench! The first day was the worse pain, today it's a little easier. I'm very well drugged today though. :-)

Back home...got discharged at 11:00.....feeling pretty good. Wishing everyone best of luck and speedy recovery.

I had my surgery on Monday and due to a blockage I was passing bloody stool and they have now stopped the Heprin shots cause they believe I'm bleeding inside!! If stopping the shot doesn't work I will have to have a blood transfusion!! Then who knows what after!!

However my pain is not bad , actually feelings great and my wife is doing excellent and is now not a patient but is staying here with me at the hospital!!! Will keep ya posted.. Just wanna go home so I can begin my journey with my wife !!

T-T, I hope stopping the shot stops the bleeding, praying for you. And all the power to your wife, she's a keeper. After I was released all I wanted to do was go home and rest. Prayers for both of you. I had my incision bust open 2 weeks after my surgery and wouldn't stop bleeding, it wasn't gushing, just kept bleeding. Had to change bandages like every two to three hours. I had to go back to dr and have them cauterize it but it finally stopped. And like you I have had no pain. Good luck to you again.

Already having a problem with food dr released me to eat light flakey fish like tilapia tuna and salmon, cottage cheese and refried beans... Well I'm throwing up tonight first time since surgery idk why, I are salmon tonight tried for the first time and looks like I can't handle that try man oh man I didn't over eat and waited 30mins before I drank any water and omfg I'm still up battling the stomach from throwing up more having some of the fish come up now ahhhhh what to do

I had my surgery on Wednesday and the pain is terrible! I just have to focus on the end results.

Hope you and wife are doing okay praying for you guy especially you stay blessed

Stopping the shot didn't stop the bleeding so now I'm waiting on a plasma infusion to thinken up my blood and hopefully stop it!! Sigh ...

But other then that day 5 and I feel great and my pouch is handling all liquids that I can have .. So far so good with that!!

This is my last day of work for 3 weeks. Surgery Monday at 1pm. So excited!!!
