Hey vicki.. I saw dr they did blood work for platelets to chk for infection..but they said if it continues and I can't hold liquids/food down then I need an egd to see if its a stricture..he also said in my case its not gas causing it

I'm going to drs today I hope its nothing serious

Does anyone get pain in upper stomach? (Under chest) I feel very full but its pain..I also have not really ate/drank due to this feeling today

Dr said its not infected its just my bodys way of trying to push out my sutures inside...i didn't have a drain..this incision is the smallest of the 6..its under my chest

No odor..feels like a scab but it def looks like there's puss or something under that otherwise why would it be whiteish...all my incisions feel the same

I gained 7 in hospital

8 days post op...still in pain on left side and on bottom of front of stomach...drs are putting me back on pain meds (lortab)...I was having issues with constipation but that has cleared (now I gotta worry again going back on meds)...I was told its normal for left side pain and the front is rare but it does happen...and its very painful (feels like skin is rubbing/burning)...On a positive note I've lost 12lbs since surgery...

I had surgery aug 20....last bm was the 19th...I'm starting to get uncomfortable...I've been taking miralax for 3 days still nothing...can I try milk of magnesia today eventhough I took miralax this morning?...any input is appreciated

I'm 4 days out..are u taking ur meds frequently? I seen a lot of ppl that rarely take their meds due to no pain but I'm honestly taking mine every 4hrs as directed for pain

My pain is mainly left..others hurt if there touched..left side I have 2 incisions then 4 in middle of stomach..how far are you post op?

I had my surgery on the 20th...was released from hospital yesterday but today I seem to have ALOT of pain on my left side feels like burning/pulling...is this normal? I'm worried I might of pulled something trying to get out of bed
