How much fluid weight did you gain while in hospital?

So I seem to be holding about 15lbs of fluid. I came in on Monday at 376, and this afternoon hopped on a scale that said 392. I'm curious what the range has been for others. Not complaining at all, since I know it will "pass" lol.

Hey 1 week to lose 16lbs of fluid weight isn't too bad. I bet you're feeling better and better as it goes?

I do feel better but I am Soooo thirsty. I can barely move, but that's an increase from being completely unable to move.

I gained 14 in the hospital, I lost it within the week. The more you move, the faster it goes away...

Oh thank goodness! I've noe gained 21 and can't wait to be rid of it!

I gained 12. A week after surgery it was gone and I was back to what I weighed day of surgery. :-)

I'd read about weight gain from IV fluids here so I wasn't surprised. Disappointed, but not surprised. Lol

It goes away quickly and then the REAL weight loss starts! :-)

I have all you beat, lol !! I gained 24 pounds in the 3 days I was hospitalized. It took me to my 1 month post op appt. to get it all of plus 3 additional pounds. Everyone is different but it will come off eventually!

I gained 5 lbs
