Thank you for the input...my children are 10,6,5....i was planning on getting things for simple meals for them so i dont stress cooking too much during first week or two...my husband was planning on working nights so i will have his help during day and when kids were getting ready to winde down he will leave....i hope it goes as planned...i was told ill be in hospital for two days

Thats what im afraid of being too tired...we have no family close by everyone is over 3 hours away...i need to figure something out...thank you

Hey guys...i was just wondering what plans you have for help afterwards...i heard lifting etc will be limited...i have 3 kids...and im wondering if ill even be able to cook for them...

no liquid diet for me either...they only told me nothing to eat or drink after midnight day of surgery..

No pre op liquid diet for me either

Mine was rescheduled because there had to be 2 surgeons in OR and 1 of them had a conflict with my date so they rescheduled...

Had my pre op physical today..ekg bloodwork and they gave me hibicleanse for 3 days prior...no bowel prep no liquid diet just nothing to eat after midnight...can't believe its almost here!!

So sorry for your loss. .my surgery was suppose to be july 16 but it was rescheduled from surgeon conflicts but rescheduled for august 20...my mother passed away july 1st :/

I was wondering what kinds of food you guys are buying for after surgery for liquid phase..my papers say ill be on full liquids for 3 weeks...

i am bummed...i just recieved a call from surgeons office...they need to postpone my surgery that was suppose to be july 16....to august 20 im so mad....they said its because there has to be 2 surgeons in OR and that day conflicts with the other surgeons schedule... -=(

My papers were submitted on may 29...my surgery date is july 16th...and I don't have to do a pre op diet prior to surgery just had to lose 5% of weight before they scheduled me
