Since getting home from the hospital, almost eight weeks, I have used a 12 oz wide mouth sports type bottle. It is short and not so overwhelming. I would just sip from it all day and keep refilling it as needed.

I have a 16 oz water bottle and I sip on it all day and keep refilling as need. I am 14 days post op. It is the same way I do the Protein.< /p>

Its funny how smaller Water bottles go so much easier for me... for example I have a big 48oz one that I can barely get through half of in a day but if I carry my small 16oz bottle I refill it at least 2x a day without even thinking about it... I know it's a weird mental thing but it makes hitting the goal seem much more obtainable

I used the cups for 2 weeks after getting out for of hospital while I was still on just Protein Shakes. Now I have a 20 ounce Water bottle. I make sure I drink 1 before lunch, one before dinner and one after dinner. That way I know if I have fallen short or if I am doing good. Its easier for me to keep track. As for food, drinks, etc. I measure everything specifically. Hope this helps.

I still use them occasionaly after 3.5 weeks. For some reason it's easier for me to finish my liquids if I have them out in the little cups. I think I get overwhelmed with more than 12oz containers. I sure do miss chugging back 8oz in 5mins!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
