I used a whole wheat tortilla. I only put about 2 tablespoons (if that) of pizza sauce (I like to use the squeeze bottle because I don't use much at a time) then I put mozzarella and a little fresh Parmesan' date=' a little pineapple and couple tablespoons ham. I did it quick and put it right in the oven at 400 for about 10 minutes. That prevents the tortilla from getting soggy and it crisps up nice. You could use any toppings you like really. On Eggface's blog she has some super creative ones.

I couldn't eat the whole thing cause I'm only 7 weeks post op but I knew that individually I could handle those ingredients and it worked :)[/quote']

I'm not supposed to eat tortillas but I may cheat cuz that sounds yummy lol kmnkit supposed to have any carbs

I saw someone who made a pizza crust out of cheese.

It was shredded cheese that they flattened in to a circle

I believe that they baked it on parchment paper till it was crispy then added toppings

Try this one I made it last night

Spray dish with pam

8 oz fat free cream cheese

2 eggs

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1/4 cup parm cheese

Combine all in a 9x13 baking dish and bake in preheated 350 oven for 12 to 15 min until brown. Remove from oven and cool

Top with fat free mozzeralla, sugar free tomatoe sauce, mushrooms or any veggies, bake in oven another 8 to 10 min until cheese melts and enjoy !!!

I make my "pizza" with only cheese and toppings.... you use a nonstick pan, put a layer shredded mozzarella in it, once it gets nice and bubbly add your toppings and a little parmesan. Check the bottom because it will crisp up then remove to a plate for about a min. Then I dip it in a little low sugar marinara sauce... delicious!!! I usually cut it in 4's but can only eat about a slice.

I had a sunny side up egg on half of a sandwich thin that was toasted. I topped it with homemade pick de gallo! Didn't eat the whole thing but was so good and sat really well. Gonna be my go to meal from now on!

Can I ask some of my post-op friends how they got past the extreme head hunger?? I'm seriously almost in tears! All I want is a big, juicy burger, but I'm on Clear Liquids for another week, full liquids for 2 weeks, and then puréed for 2 weeks. I know this is only temporary and will be worth it. I'm just mourning food right now, I guess.... Lol

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
