Awww What Can I Say?

People have asked why I'm doing the surgery. Tonight I got proof that I'm making the right choice- my 10 yr old son (11 on Saturday) just ran inside and announced to me "mom I can't wait until you do all the fun things with me" I was distracted and asked what he meant and he told me that "so you can do anything with me that fun but without hurting!"

what can I say it made me happy that he is looking forward to being with me but breaks my heart over all I have already missed- and that he knows it!!

One more real motivation to keep me moving forward!!

Tomorrow at 730 is surgery - making my and my families dreams come true

That is so sweet. From the mouths of babes. Good luck on your surgery and I'm praying for a speedy recovery.

Yes it went well. They found a small hernia and they fixed that too. As soon as nurse comes and unhooks me I will go on a little walk in room. Pain minimal at this point. Ate a popscicle and drinking some juice- no problems

Josee I'm doing pretty good! Been up walking twice now at 15 min each- pain is a bit more now but bearable- actually my back is hurting me the most and pain meds aren't helping that. This place is really nice- you were so right. Love the private room and the tv with the movies is great- not that I've watched much since I keep going to sleep. But nick the husband is enjoying watching and keeps him entertained

So sweet, no other reason requied.

That's good just take it easy don't rush yourself. Did they do yours laparoscopic. How's your new stomach handling the popsicles and jellos well take care tell your honey don't watch to many movies

Glad to hear you are doing good :)
