  1. Down 110lbs! Loving life, shopping and all of the energy!! Few bumps along the way- but well worth it!!
  2. Hi- I'm 8 months out, and my vision has started to go downhill and FAST!! Anyone else experience this???
  3. Thanks all- I'm about 5 months out- lost almost 100lbs.. Luckily I love my decaf coffee.. I love the way I feel- more than I miss diet coke!
  4. I know both are bad- but why? Sensitive pouch?? Stretch it out?? Or just leads to bad habits?? I miss carbonation..
  5. Great advice!! I'm almost 10 weeks out- and I started tracking the weeks that I stop losing.. It's coinciding with my 'mid cycle'.. I even gained 2lbs this time.. But within a couple of days- I dropped 5lbs. So try to start charting your weeks- you may find a pattern there..
  6. Is there a difference? People say with dumping- its almost immediate.. Ive had a few times where I'm done eating- have wicked burbs and about an hour later I get sick.. Is that from eating fast or is that dumping? The problem is- it happens on stuff I shouldn't dump on.. No sugars..
  7. I am 10 weeks and have the same paranoia.. I already have short, fine, hair- I don't want to lose it!! .
  8. The last couple of days have sucked.. Cried a lot- and not sure why.. The huge lifestyle change- the sadness of missing food as my comfort- plateau in weight loss- etc.. It's such a huge transition!! And no one gets it- besides all of you!! Surgery was 5/21..
  9. I've tried eddys- no sugar added butter pecan!! It's awesome!!!
  10. I was just signing to on to start a similar post. Post op 288lbs.. Surgery 5/21.. And I've been hovering 258-259 for a few days now.. Not sure if it's the heat- or my cycle- or normal.. Frustrating!!
  11. It gets better- we promise!!! Better every day.. Try to stay positive.
  12. Have you given it up all together?? Temporarily? Or just cutting back??
  13. I also was told to use one of those mug warmers- supposed to keep coffee warm- but perfect size for our little bowl.. Or the baby dishes that you add hot water into to keep food warm.. Or heat a rice bag- put in your lap or table- and put bowl in there.. Some ideas..
  14. I was told the best time to get high protien in was first thing in the morning- and after working out..
  15. Wow! Tough road- but it'll be all worth it. Keep up the good work and positive attitude. Take care..
  16. Yup- my fitness pal has an app for iPhone.. Live love love it!!!
  17. You poor thing- good luck- I was miserable- lasted about 5 days- also did oatmeal baths..
  18. Do you have the 30 min rule?? I am 3-4 meals of 1-3oz.. Can't drink 30 min before or after you eat..
  19. It's hard- it may take me 45-60 min to eat 1/2 cup refried beans..
  20. Oops.. I CAN'T have fruit/veggies for a few more weeks.
  21. Stuff like Ground turkey.. Fat free refried beans- turkey breast with fat free gravy- pure protie pre-made choc shakes (23 grams). Syntrax strawberry mousse shake with skim milk (30 grams). Hormel turkey chili.. I can have fruit/veggies for a few more weeks- so it's all protein..
  22. Hi- I see that everyone has different foods they are allowed to start with- but how many grams of protein are you supposed to get each day? My dr says 60 grams (3 weeks post op). What about you? What of you get 70-80 in? Is that ok??
  23. I started this whole process when I was 39- hoping to have surgery by the time I was 40. I will be 41 in August- and just had surgery 5/21. Doing ok so far- 20lbs down. I'm nervous about how being 40 will slow stuff down..
  24. These numbers are all amazing.. Great job by everyone!! Heaviest: 310 lbs Surgery 5/21: 288lbs Today: 268lbs
  25. Thanks.. I did lay down- and that did help!! Better now- wont do that again!
