Hi All,

I am wondering why I can't eat that much now, I was able to drink 3-4 oz no problem, this past week since I have been back in work, I eat and feel like I am gonna puke. I am so stressed about getting my Protein in and losing my hair if i dont. I am a mess. I have my shake in the morning, but now takes me longer to drink it. I am getting all my Vitamins in. Is it because I am healing and the sleeve was abel to stretch before?

I dont think that your sleeve has stretched. I went through times like that where I just couldnt eat much (or drink much) Sometimes I just got tired of eating. Just do your best and focus on Protein, Hydration and dont stress. It should all be fine. Just give yourself time. As your tummy heals and as you start to eat more solid foods, you will really feel alot of restriction and so just concentrate on eating small small bites and chew them really good and then eat slow slow!!!

My nutritionist said that it is kind of like a tetris game in my tummy now. I have to try to fill up every space with what my body needs and in order to do this, I need to eat slowly and chew thoroughly.

No worries, you just keep doing what you should be doing!

Relax, the stress won't help. Nothing has stretched. Just focus on Proteins and liquids.

PS, is work a source of stress for you?

Of course, I am a Manager of 3 large pediatric office's in PA. I just feel when I am home, I am able to eat more. I tend to get hungry at the end of my work day around 2pm. I eat Protein first always, then add some soft vegtables. But usually takes an hour to eat it all, I am getting used to eating hot food when it gets cold :) I just returned to work 9/3, and had surgery on 8/6. My doctor put me on a full diet after only 1 week.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
