October Sleevers - Who else

I got my date (October 15th) and my insurance approval. I'm excited and nervous. Who else is being sleeved in October?

hey I had my surgery with Dr Lopez on October 9 and I am still having a lot of problems infections and pain the coordinator sucks and after care was awful wouldn't do it again hospital great nurses amazing hotel great too but after care when there is a problem was horrible and they charge for every little thing

I'm at the Marriott. Blood work and EKG done today. Surgery is tomorrow. Starting to freak out now.

Don't freak! You'll be fine :-)

Don't freak out. You will do great. Walk walk walk. Sip sip sip. Burp burp burp. Just feels like I did a lot of crunches

I'm nervous and excited! My day is tomorrow! I feel like I'm coming down with a cold a day before surgery. I have to be at the hospital at 8am for my surgery at 10am. I was told that my surgery may take an extra hour cause of all the scar tissue from previous surgeries. Once I get home, I am going to pack my bag and go to bed. I have an early day since I am catching the bus to the hospital. The only good thing is that the bus ride is only 15 minutes. But I am going to arrive early just in case something happens along the way.

I am doing better than I thought I would! Got up and walked six times yesterday! Able to so ice chips and those really help! My incision pain seems to be the most painful low but it's bearable! Wen all night without morphine but had to give into it this am

Ok so the first couple of times I had to get out of bed really sucked! It felt likey insodes were being ripped apart... some crying :( but it literally got better hour by hour. Right now its 3:30am and I can get in and out of bed. With minimal effort. I can do a brisk walk several times around the unit I can pee without difficulty I have not had any nausea whatsoever! I m getting plenty of fluids and considering what my body just went throu I feel great!

My experience was pretty much the same. I was sleeved Oct. 2 and feel great. Glad to hear things are good.

I'm also sleeved!! Worried myself too about pain. Not nearly as bad as I though it would be. Have walked around several times Definitely helps. Have leak test sometime this morning then if I pass i get some liquids. I'm very dry and would love a few sips of water. No nausea either. Hope everyone else is doing well!

Whoo hoo! I'm glad everyone came out ok.
