Hi i had it on July 31st too. The liquid diet was very had for me. I asked my dr if I could start having food and he said yes after 12 days just had to go very very slow. :-)

I had my surgery on Tuesday. I'm tolerating the liquids pretty well - got 64 oz. in yesterday (my first full day home)

I'm from Orange county NY. Had my sleeve on 8/12. I was on only clear liquids since surgery until today. Now I'm on protein shakes until further notice. My weigh in the morning of surgery was 292 and I weighed myself this morning and scale hit 278.5. So far so good and no regrets at all on this end. I have my first Dr visit appointment on Tuesday. Will keep you guys posted.

Hey paper1875 I'm in East Patchogue too!! I was sleeved on April 17, down 59lbs. And I still get tired!!! I am feeling an increase in my energy level overall but still find I feel more tired than I think I should at times. I really just started exercising, I had wanted to prior to now but this is when i started.I haven been able to eat everything except ice cream. Probably a blessing though right?? :)

Happimarci you probably aren't getting enough protein in if you are feeling tired. As for the excercise I was sleeved in mar and didn't start really working out until late june. But now I am addicted to it.

Hi Tina5978' date=' I'm also from the bronx, got sleeved 8/7[/quote']

Hey Rockinbella, I work at Montefiore. Who did your surgery? What's your diet plan?

I was sleeved on 8/14 in Hudson Valley.

I love my Montifiore, I work at Lehman my doctor was Dr. Choi love her. I'm currently in soft foods. Had a major mishap yesterday kinda blanked out had a drink after a bit of food and I officially thought this was it! It was so painful for about two hours.

Rockinbella that is a mistake you only make once. Eskimo I am currently in my second stall. The first was 4 weeks post op and it only lasted a little over a week. This one I am in now has been 4 weeks. To say it isn't frustrating I would be lying however I have been losing inches instead of lbs.

From the Bronx. Just got sleeved 8/14

Hi Tina. I am from the Bronx too. Where do you get your sleeve done? My surgery is 8/20!!!
