Any October sleevers?

I am in the very early stages of the procedure (pyche eval done and first nutrition class on Tuesday) - I am excited about the possibility of getting my life back but also a little scared of the unknown. I have fought this weight all of my life and I am so tired of the fight - please tell me it is all worth it?

My husband was sleeved on 9/19 and is on the puréed stage. I am 5 days post op and on Clear liquids & Protein shakes. Water, decaf tea, SF Jello, SF Italian ice, SF ice pops, Isopure shakes and isopure zero carb drinks. I am supposed to get in 4 oz. liquids every hour I'm awake but it's virtually impossible. What type of diet are you on?

That's great and I'm glad you're doing well! I'm the same-gassy. I was only burping all day yesterday and it's not TMI girl. I was happy today to wake up and pass gas! I was waiting for that to happen because it all coming up into the chest is painful! I too am trying to get my fluids in.

Hi! It was a wonderful experience to burp and pass gas! My sister came to visit and I told her ahead of time that is I get the urge I will do it! Lol! I am now home about to take a nap!

My surgery is scheduled 10/22. I am very nervous and finding that I am eating like food will disappear on 10/22. Any suggestions for me ya'll?

Scheduled for the 21st of Oct. Getting off the rig and pre-op the next day. Cant wait to get this over with and start the journey.

I am due to get sleeved on 21st October .. I live in Australia. I am excited about my journey to good health but so scared of the surgery!!!

Hi Missy, I live on the Central Coast NSW had my surgery done five days ago. Honestly I would have to say the surgery itself has been the easiest part, virtually no pain apart from those in my shoulders and under my ribs from the gas and they soon go if you get up and move around a bit. I started at 133.5 kg and am looking forward with fingers crossed for my first weigh in on Tuesday. I really am only a short step ahead of you but I am happy to answer any question I can, good luck with your op.
