  1. Great job to everyone! Surgery Date: 10-4-13 Highest weight: 279 Surgery weight: 270 Current weight: 217 Total weight loss : 62 lbs.
  2. I would love that answer too! I'm 2 months out of VSG today. I get in 60-100 grams of protein but don't know the carb limit.
  3. How did you break thru your weight loss stall? I'm almost 4 weeks postop and having lost anything since last Thursday. I am stuck at 249 and change. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out how to break thru stall. Any advice would be helpful.
  4. My husband was sleeved on 9/19 and is on the puréed stage. I am 5 days post op and on Clear liquids & Protein shakes. Water, decaf tea, SF Jello, SF Italian ice, SF ice pops, Isopure shakes and isopure zero carb drinks. I am supposed to get in 4 oz. liquids every hour I'm awake but it's virtually impossible. What type of diet are you on?
  5. I'm 5 days post-op as of today. Since July (start of preop journey) I have lost 12 lbs. Still pretty sore but getting better everyday. July weight: 276 Surgery weight: 270 Day 5 weight: 264
  6. My husband was sleeved on Thursday and I home recovering. My surgery date is October 4th.

  14. Hello everyone. I am in NJ having sleeve surgery on October 4th. Pre-op testing is almost over! Have CPAP sleep study ths weekend and then follow up appts for cardiologists. Then all that is left is surgeon visit, last NUT class & pre-op blood work. Anyone having surgery in NJ?

  16. Glad to hear all the success everyone has had doing this together. Me & husband just had our psych eval & cardiologist appts. We just want to wrap up all these loose ends ASAP.
  17. Worst night sleep ever for me! Glad it is over! Finding out the results tomorrow.
  18. Moving closer to surgery date. Already had sleep study and will find out results on Friday. Hope to have all clearances before September 1st.
  19. I'm new to this thread. Me & my husband are going through the process together. Most of our appointments are together. His surgery date is Sept. 13th & mine is Oct. 4th. We had to do separate dates since I have a five year old son to take care of as well. It's been exciting to be doing this together. We gained weight together so it seems fitting that we are going to lose it together. This weekend is the sleep study which we are doing together. Good luck to all husband & wife sleevers! Any advice please respond.
  20. Just started this process a few weeks ago. Went to first appointment with surgeon. Already got surgery dates. My husband is September 13th. Have a lot of appointments until then.
