I m not getting all Water in n found myself several times with a bite of my kids Pasta in my mouth ( twice) but other than that I m logging in all food on fit pal to total 600 to 800 calories. I just don't get it!

I am on my fitness pal app name is krissidi. I would love if we had a group of us use this as support. Feel free to friend me. Best of luck to you all.

MUST READ!!!!!!! omg.... thought I was dying or wishing I was!!!!!! so I'm like almost a month out from getting my sleeve and having no problems at all at all NONE... oh Lordy did I make up for it....I was having a pain low on my right side kinda in the groin area and low in my back with extreme pressure.... I thought I could wait it out... I wasn't sure what it was or what to do.... my bowel movements was ok no sign of blood and no burning when I pee.... hot shower or heading pad didn't bring comfort nor ibuprofen so I went to emergency room ...... the waiting area was packed I was like fifth to be seen ..... I sat in the corner in a near by area because the pain was getting worse...I sat balled up and rocking to apply pressure... I'm a strong women and can take pain of all sorts but let me tell about this pain.... as the hours crawled by I literally started crying and whimpering that soon went to a pant with sounds of groining that kept the stares coming my way.... at this point I'm not caring and so in pain I feel like I'm going to throw up and blackout all at the same time.... a pastor even ce by and grabbed my hand and prayed over me and probably gave me my last rights but I don't really know it was all I blur.... I get rolled back to the ER because I can't walk and they think its my appendix and is getting ready to do surgery.... I'm crying and acting a fool and just in pain and I went through one bag of IV Fluid and I have to pee so they give me a cup .... I go pee and all of a sudden this calm comes over me and the pain drops to soreness I look in the cup and there is a stone the size of half a peppercorn.... I'm like are you serious it's like I gave birth and that tiny thing brought on all that pain.... they send it off to the lab and the doctor tells me I have a twisted intestine as well which will probably correct it self but to be mindful of it and if there is lower pain again and it's not a stone tell them about the intestine.... most likely the stone was due to the sleeve surgery and may happen again.... they can be brought on by lots of not getting enough fluid or Vitamins or to much Calcium or soda etc. ..... in this case she's not sure until results are back... so today I feel better and probably can't go back there because I acted such a fool but thank god it's over!

Oh my goodness! My head was screaming Leak! while I was reading this. I'm sooo glad that it's "just" a kidney stone. Horrible, miserable experience to be sure, but at least it was quickly and easily resolved! I hope that you don't have any more trouble with them and I hope that your intestine resolves itself! Don't be hard on yourself for reacting to the pain as you did. I've heard kidney stones can be horribly painful and you know the ER docs and nurses probably see it all the time and totally understand!

Best of luck to you!

I had Kidney stones once and passed 4 of them, I was ready to name them they hurt so bad. They say when a man passes them it is closest to a women giving birth.

Sleeved on 7/17. Really tired of pureed food. Desperately, tired of them. I just am not that creative to figure out anything that doesn't look too disgusting to eat. I go back to the Dr on Tuesday and meet with the nutritionist again. I have not been weighing myself just focusing on meeting my daily goals. So Tuesday will be a surprise, hopefully good. I am also hoping for a pass onto soft foods.

I am feeling so down today. I didnt weigh myself all week hoping that by breaking myself from weighing everyday I would be happier seeing results just once a week. However the scale has not moved since last week. I am doing everything I should be doing plus walking a lot. I even walked 3 1/2 miles in an hour & 1/2 on tuesday & the scale is at a stand still. I know to expect stalls but my stall was last week. I did not want to still be in it. Sorry just venting a little. I only had surgery 3 weeks ago as of yesterday & only lost 21 lbs then gaoned back like 4 of those lbs while still on the liquid stage <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> now I have been on the pureed stage for a week & nothing happened. I just want to cry :'( I thought I would have been down more then just 21 lbs by now. I can not help but feel like this surgery was a total waste. I know I will he happier if/when I see more pounds dropping off & see a difference in my inches' date=' which have not moved much either. But for today I am depressed.[/quote']

Sounds like the 3 week stall. I am coming out of it now at 6 weeks post op. so I had 3 weeks of almost no lost. Google it. Most people experience it. Just keep tracking, drinking and exercising. You will get through it.

Thank you!!!! I actually dropped the 4lbs I had gained back on saturday :) its kind of funny how on friday the scale said 304lbs & then saturday finally after a week it dropped back down to 300lbs. I was soo happy. After I went for a 4 mile walk because I was so upset about not dropping anything for the week I decided to weigh myself again & not wait until next week & when I saw those 4lbs gone I got so excited :) I know there will be stalls along the way. I knew to expect them but it did not stop me from getting upset about it. No matter how much I told myself it was normal & it would be okay. Later that night I had another melt down & was just so upset about anything & everything. After my first melt down I started going for walks & it really seemed to help keep the melt downs at bay but this past week I only got to walk once on tuesday & walked 3 & 1/2 miles but it took me an hour & 1/2. However due to rain & also having to help my friend out by babysitting her son that was the onky day I had gotten any walking done So as soon as I woke up saturday & saw it was nice out I took full advantage & walked those 4 miles in 2 hours. I had way to much energy that I needed to burn. Lol. Sorry for rambling on.

Having a hard time keeping my eyes on the prize ... I've been on Clear Liquids plus Protein Shakes since mid-June or so (got violently sick after the endoscopy for about two weeks so surgery was postponed, drug reactions, blah blah blah) and I am so sick of sweet shakes. I've got another two weeks to go, then will move on to softs. How did folks get themselves to focus on the prize and not the immediate nausea? :)

I got nausea pills from my doc. Also am pretty sick of sweet shakes. Someone on here suggested putting Decaf instant coffee in the shakes and that has made a big difference for me. I also heated on up tonight and imagined it as cocoa. Cant wait until purees on Friday.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
