At my one week post op' date=' my doc said that I was cleared to do any exercise except stomach crunches.[/quote']

I went for my 3 week post-op check up and my doc said that it was okay for me to start walking. I'd been doing a little of that anyway. But I officially started today for about 15 minutes. I feel good. A little tired but good.

Today the weather was perfect. Went for a walk at the lake which went on .. for 5.5 miles. I will be 4 weeks out tomorrow.. started exercising a week ago. Not lifting any weights for now, but planning to do so soon. Actually feeling really good. On Tuesday will be starting soft food. Taking all my vitamins makes a big difference for me.

It takes time. Some people lose quicker than others. My weight loss is gradual. Not what I expected but I have started walking so that will help a lot. I don't want to lose weight too fast and look sick. Not everyone knows I've had the surgery and I want to keep it that way.

Thats awesome. I was tired at first too. Mainly weak.

I just hope more pounds start dropping off. But gradually. It feels good to get out of the apartment and off the couch. My niece noticed that I have lost a few pounds :) it feels good to know that people notice.

I can't keep down the chewable vitamins. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've just been taking the liquid.
