Thanks. I may try this eventually. Trying to fight the cravings with healthy and appropriate foods. This is rough! Ugh! :(

I'm on pureed foods. Chicken, fish and Turkey. I can have green beans too. Still on the Slimfast protein shakes, pudding and applesauce.

I am sick of soup now. The liquid stuff is now horrible to me. Wish I had a private chef.

Slimfast protein shakes?? Never tried it

Ok it's officially 7 days since my surgery. My direction is to not go to the next level of foods until 10 days. I feel depressed. I'm so over drinking. I'd like to have some applesauce or pudding or mashed potatoes. I'm having a super difficult time getting in enough calories. :-(. I seen a post where she could move on to the mushy foods by now. I don't know...maybe this is part of the process. Feeling depressed that is. I just want to sleep. I don't have the energy to get out and exercise like I know I should. Just ranting. I'll get over it I'm sure.

I completely understand. Trust me you are not alone. I'm having the diet blues myself. But we just have to be patient. I am so tired of my foods that I want to scream! I will say the pureed stuff is better than the liquid diet. It gets old too though.

I cheated and ate a Babybel cheese. 9g protein and 70 cals. I let it melt in my mouth before I swallowed it. So far no issues. The fact that I got to bite into something and chew it made me feel a little better. I've only consumed 400 cals today. I'm going to try some applesauce too. It will help so I don't get constipated from the cheese. TMI I know.

What are the most effective workout techniques to losing weight? The pounds come off quicker if you're active. I need to be more active.

Bgood

I have not started post op work out yet due to still too early. I know walking really helps and light weights for strength. But you should follow what your physical therapy person tells you.

I'm going to start Rockin Body and do the modified version... I've also been doing Wii Fit and skipping anything with abs
