Since the scale won't budge, I'll go to the camera:)

I am officially 13 months out, and the scale will NOT budge. Actually it did last week. It went up a pound!!!! I just about had a heart attack lol!!

Toady I decided to remind myself what this journey is all about. I needed a reminder of what I have accomplished thus far. I need to keep a positive outlook, I need to stay focus and stay away from the scale :)

*touch* hot ^^ congratz

You are looking fabulous! Here is an example of why you should not look at the scales. My son and his friend are both 14... Both are 5'11" and both are 175 pounds. However my son works out doing mma and is in a lean size 32 pants where his friend who does not work out is in a size 36 pants. My son didn't understand how they weigh the same amount, and are the same height but his friend is so much bigger around. Muscle, while it weighs the same amount as fat, takes up less then half the actual volume as fat does.

My point is that while the scale may not be moving your body may be exchanging fat for muscle and therefor the scale may not move, but your size will still get smaller, and you will appear thinner. So when you are feeling discouraged it is a good idea to measure yourself, and pay attention to how your clothes fit. Good luck girl! You are looking amazing! :)

OMG!!! I cant believe its been over a yr. I remember when I first joined thix group were having ur last meal and had surgery shortly

after. I haven`t been on that much to see your progress. All im gonna say isYOU GO GIRL!! U look simply marvelous!

good to hear from you! I will look forward to your pictures. Even if you don't post them, take plenty to record your journey.
