Puree Recipes?

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

I'm going to be starting the puree stage in a few days. Do any of you have any tried and true recipes? I'm sure I will get sick of puree'd chicken if I don't have any variation LOL

I ended up buying several different sauces that were 0 to 2 g of sugar. My chicken with the sauces. I tried pesto, gravy, light mayo, blooming onion, garlic pepper, and whatever else I could find! Boiled my chicken with chicken stock and soy sauce and then added the different flavors and frozen in half cup Tupperware.... Also I may just the insides of crab Rangoon and froze that. And also you can try ricotta cheese with marinara sauce or spaghetti sauce. That's what I got if I find anything more I'll post it here. Good luck.

Yes, add some sort of liquid, like a light sauce, stock or Water. You shouldn't need a lot, just enough to add a bit of lubrication, so don't think you need to turn it into soup! Also, if you aren't already doing so I recommend rough chopping or cubing the meat so that the fines are shorter to begun with.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
