I had my surgery on May 14th. The surgery went well. Unfortunately while in recovery I suffered a heart attack. Hospital did not know this as my enzyme test pre surgery looked good. They didn't get the post surgery lab test until May 16th. In the meantime they sent me home. Thursday morning I was awakened by my Dr standing by my bed telling me to go to the ER ASAP. After getting to the hospital I was re-admitted and was back in surgery in less than an hour. 2 of my arteries were blocked. 1 was 100% and the other was 60%. So I got 2 stints put in. I'm home now and feeling better. I feel lucky this was discovered when it was, otherwise I may have been in the middle of no-where. Make sure your doctors check your heart health and your enzyme levels are good. I love being sleeved and am looking forward to my journey.

OMG! Glad you're OK now! Looks like the surgery was a real lifesaver in more ways than one!

What a journey you have been on! I am glad that the stents are put in and you are doing much better. Things are going to get a lot easier from here on out.

The doctor was at an outlying clinic near where I lived and couldn't get through to me on my phone cause I was asleep. So he just came over. My mom is staying with us to help out so she invited him in. ) I thought it was really thoughtful of him. Who knew doctors still made house calls... Lol..
