I had surgery on 2/20/13 and have had a green tea latter once since then when my work did a group order. It was good and went down fine and I assume was legal / caffeine free but was about 300 calories so I haven't been willing to devote that many calories to non food since then

I tend to view most of what is available at Starbucks as being hot milk shakes :-)

If I had to have something there I would go for a long black!

Starbucks are to coffee what Macdonalds is to beef.

Decaf tea or decaf coffee. You could do the "milkshakes" but no sugar and non fat and your still using a lot of calories

NOTHING! I've gone thru their menu with a fine toothed comb. Ugh! I would suggest getting a Decaf coffee black drink in the morning (made at home), ice, unsweetened almond or soy milk, stevia to sweeten, and if u want an extra kick, you can also add in some sugar free hazelnut Syrup. That way, you get your Protein, your

"Coffee" (even tho it's decaf) and its low sugar :)

Just get a tea. I get their vanilla rooibos and sometimes add a dash of skim milk or just as is with a packet of honey.

You can also get a nonfat sugar free latte for about 110 cals for a small. Worth it if you're out with friends and want a treat

I'm still pre op but I think when post op and okayed to have caffeine I would get something iced...therefore if I dont finish it it can still go in the fridge for later, I dont think Starbucks reheats well. I'm gonna be so sad giving up my lime refreshers. Also I think I'm gonna enjoy my last day of frappy hour (frappicino happy hour) today.

I make my own Starbucks drink. I buy their passion tea mix and use crystal light for the lemonade. I love my pink drink!! :)

I'm a big fan of the tall decaf nonfat latte. Have one every day. I love them and the 10g of Protein helps me meet my daily goals.

When I go I will order a tall skinny Cappuccino. I don't get Decaf unless it's in the afternoon. My surgeon and NUT are ok with small amounts of caffeine as long as I am not having an issue getting my Water in.

Also, if you need a quick easy Breakfast, look for their spinach and feta Breakfast wrap. I open up the wrap and have the inside. Great Protein and so yummy. If, I recall correctly, almost 20 grams of Protein. It's one of the few things there that are quite nutritious.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
