Oh, the shame.

Today I answered the siren call of the carbs, and I'm so ashamed - started the day off with a half serving of frosted mini-wheats. lunch saw me eat a bite EACH of: pizza, Pasta shells, yakisoba noodles, roasted potatoes, AND a gyro with yogurt sauce. :( And, I just had a pop-tart. I .... don't know what got into me. I'm on my way to the gym now to run like mad and lift punishing weights and dinner will be plain tuna.< /p>

after losing 130#, you can't be tripped by a pop tart or a 'bite' of pizza. Get back on the program and your (obvious) successes will continue.

@Arts - it's only 105 lbs, I have another 57 lbs to goal :/

@Lipstick - girl, I've tried it all, there is no rhyme or reason to the carb craze. Some days I start off with a Protein shake and I'm full all day, other days I start off with a shake and can't stop eating all dang day.

I love being a girl, except times like this. I am doing NO CARBS at all, otherwise it's a total **** storm for me.

Me too! Carbs are my total downfall! So I stay the hell away from them!

Same here! It is amazing how a little Pasta can stop the scale from moving in the right direction. I have to stay away from it completely.

I am not able to eat cereal in the morning because it sets me up for a carb inhale all freaking day. Sucks, because I love cereal.

I've noticed the same thing. If I eat anything before noon, it's low carb or a Protein shake. I've noticed if I do that, I don't crave carbs (bad carbs) as much the rest of the day.

Consider this...before, you wouldn't have been worried about a bite of pizza or Pasta shells. You'd have been worried about eating a WHOLE pizza. Or a BOX of pasta shells. hehe

What's done is done. Please don't let this one mis-step take you off course. Use the guilt as fuel to make better decisions the next time. You got this!

      I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

      I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

        That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
