Anyone wear smaller shoes now?

Recommended Posts

Yes. My feet have thinned so much on width and little on size. No more swollen feet either... Just cute feet.

yep. about a month after surgery I bought me a brand new 120 dollar pair of workout shoes since I would be going to the gym fairly often. They are now too big and my feet slide around in them. I've been thinking of getting thicker socks for now because I love my shoes sooooo much.

I just got rid of about half of my shoes. Pre-op I wore anywhere from a 9 to 10, usually a 9 wide if I could.

Today I wear an 8 1/2. My feet have thinned out and "shrunk" due to less weight and pressure on them.

I always called mine "Barney Rubble" feet before :)

Yes! I have huge wide feet. I was wearing a size 13 W pre op. That was actually what made me realize how big I has gotten because at one point my 13s were too small and my foot wasn't fitting in them (I had gained like 40 pounds) well today pretty much all my 13s are huge on me! My foot has slimed a lot. 12s and even some 11's fit me! Would never have happened a year ago! I'm down 90 pounds so far, 5 months post op and some more to go still, so its possible my foot will be even smaller! So yea your feet definitely shrinks!

I didn't think mine would because they were always the skinniest thing on me. I'm down only 29 lbs and already wearing the shoes that were too small and reserving my old favorites for workouts.

I am down a full size in some types of shoes, and a 1/2 size down in others. I also do not need wide width anymore. Its a whole new world of shoes for me ;)

I was a size 12, and I think I'm a 10.5 now, but those don't really exist in shoe stores! Most 11s are a little too big, and 10s are a little too small and pinch my toes.

How funny - this has been on my mind all day. Have been walking and complaining all morning because my heels (that I proudly can wear now) are flip flopping every time I walk. Think it's time go give them up.

I have lost 1/2 to a whole size in my shoes but the best thing I have noticed about my feet so far is that they don't hurt! I was able to walk around all day, 10:30 am - midnight on Sunday, at Six Flags and they didn't hurt at all! Also I can wear 4 in heels without hurting at all too!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
