i think bmi dictates how quickly we use. i was concerned because my friend who has gastric bypass and make lost lot than me......i uld be happy with staff 10 lbs Per month

Typo is so much easier to read than auto correct lol

Surgery date was 1/17/13. Down 27 lbs. But most of that was in the first 3 weeks. Nothing in two weeks. Getting a little discouraged. I think insulin may have something to do with it. Trying to stay positive!!

Had surgery Jan 21, 2013. Lost 10 Ibs on pre op diet. 33.4 Ibs after so, all together 43.4 Ibs

Sleeved 1/23 and down 23 lbs since survey; 32 including pre-op. Sometimes I wish that I would lose as fast as others on here but I'm feel great and my weight is going down so I am happy!

Sleeved 1-31

I lost 12 lbs pre op

24 post op

No stalls, yet

I have only lost 22lbs since surgery on 1/18. I had lost quite a bit (26 lbs) in the months prior to surgery. I tend to lose anywhere from 1 to 2.5 pounds per week. I am exercising 3-4 days a week and eating anywhere from 500-900 calories per day. The good news is I am now overweight and not obese. Recovery has been very easy and I am tolerating all foods well. Still, I am in the "slow losers" category. It is frustrating but I am really trying to look at the big picture, and not worry so much about what the scale says day to day- even though it's hard.

Jan 7th. Down 35, 5 pre and 30 post. Starting wt 263.

sleeved 1/9

20 lbs pre op

40 lbs post op

Sometimes it's discouraging reading people's huge numbers. I started out at 232, lots of people have 150,200 plus to lose so of course they will lose weight different than I do. I need to stay focused on my weight loss and not focus on others,

Lost 23 lbs pre-op.

Sleeved on 1/21.

20.8 lbs. post op. Total 43.8 lbs.

Still struggling to get enough water; enough calories w/o exceeding carbs. Any suggestions?

Surgery Jan 31st...started at 206..current weight 181

don't be discouraged by people who weigh 50, 100 lbs more than your start weight.....big people may lose larger amounts each week first....but shows down for most. i wish my start weight 230, i wish i would started this 10 years so when i weighed much, which to me now seems Like such a better weight. i wouldn't mind slower if i was a bmi....lower bmis seem to goal faster and your goals are probably than mine. my goal is 165,the charts say my goal should be 130, plus i will need plastics at the end of this......i probably wouldn't if i weighed 230, i am just excited the further i get away from 300 ! great source of protein without carbs friendship brand 1percent cottage cheese at 16 g 1/2 cup 90 call
