  1. My surgery was 1/31/13. I lost 125lbs in 10 months. I went from a size 24 to a 10. I love it.
  2. Thst must be frustrating. I never had a stall of any length. I worked out religiously, logged every single calorie and drank tons on Water. I hope your stall breaks soon. Stop the snacking!
  3. I was told I had to wait a month. Alcohol has no difference on me now then it did presleeve
  4. Totally. In the hospital they pump so much IV fluid into you. I only lost 2lbs my first week as I gained 8 in the hospital.

  6. I reached goal in 10 months. I am a 40 year old female, 5'10. SW 295 goal weight 175 current weight is 167.

  8. All pretty normal. I lived on wonton soup broth fron my fav Chinese restaurant. My hunger never did go away do I lived for each weekly appt with my nut so I could eat. I found the surgery very painful and the first few weeks sucked. But I lost 123lbs in 10 months and am now on maintenance. It was sooo worth it! Feel better and hang in there.
  9. I just went back and looked. 3 weeks after surgery I too was down 17lbs. I lost 123lbs in 10 months to reach goal. So, 17 looks good to me!
  10. I am a white wine girl. My NUT said to wIt 4 weeks after surgery for wine. I have been drinking wine since then. No issues.
  11. My surgery was 1/31:13. I am down 124 lbs and below goal. I hit goal on dec 5th. Started in 26 tops and 22 pants. I now wear a L top and size 10 pants. I never thought I would ever be do thin! Not bad for a 40 year old chick!
  12. We did it 3 months apart. We have 3 kids 7 and under with autism. We needed one of us to be 100%. Plus it was nice to be taken care of.
  13. My hunger never went away. But I just can't eat as much. But I still track what I eat so I don't overdo it.
  14. I never had a stall. I attribute it to logging every bite i ate and gping to the gym.
  15. I make soups and freeze 6oz portions. My soups have meat, beans and veggies. About 20 grams of protein per serving. My nut loves my soups and encourages them.
  16. For months 1-6 I tried to keep my calories to 600. Month 7 I shot for 700. Months 8+ I shoot for 900. I aim for 60+ grams of protein.
  17. I've felt hunger sinc 2 days out. Still do.

  19. I am nine months post op I aim for 900 calries
  20. I cannot eat chicken, super sugary drinks and steak. Everything is good.
  21. I confess that I thought wls was the easy way out, there is nothing easy about it I confess that I still see an almost 300lb woman in the mirror and I worry that will never change I confess I drink while I eat sometimes. But no matter what I refuse to eat again for at least 3 hours I confess I miss cosmopolitans, they are too sweet for me I never thought I would say this, but I love the gym.
