  2. Damn bubble is still there. I am burping but nothing effective enough to get rid of it. When I try to drink something it makes it worse. Trying to get some Gatorade down so I stay properly hydrated. I felt really good today until this. The joys of my new tummy lol
  3. So I am 10 days post op. I was drinking my protein shake and must have taken too big of a sip. I ended up with a gas bubble. Tried to burp it out but it came up with the protein shake. Not quite vomiting more like spit up. Ugh. And I still feel the burp in there. Maybe gas x?
  4. I am 5 days post op and I still have not lost all my water weight from 48 hours of ivs! Lol. I am sure it will come off in the next few days. I am feeling better every day.
  5. Was sleeved on the 31st and came home yesterday. I had a hard drinking anything last night or this morning. But, I started drinking g2 with ice and chicken broth made all the difference. I suspect I drank about 40 ox total. I am on clear fluids so no protein yet. Go back to the dr tomorrow. I feel pretty good except the biggest incision on my left side has my whole left side in pain. But it is getting a little better.
  6. Yikes! Wish me luck! I am nervous, and hoping for a complication surgery and recovery!
  7. Did you appeal to your insurance company? Do you have the 2 co-morbities?
  8. Well, you are 8 months pregnant so you should NOT be dieting while pregnant. After the baby is born, then try eating 1400 calories a day.
  9. I am having surgery the day after you and I am nervous too. I am getting more nervous each day. But, I trust my surgeon and I know I need this surgery. Good Luck!

  17. Thanks everyone! I am sure the Grnadmas will help, once I tell them about the surgery. But, my kids have special needs so eating at home is just easier on us all. I am soooo nrvous.. My mom is going to be mad. I am almost 40 and I am worried about telling my mom!
  18. I called my Drs office today to see if I was approved as I have to line up help for my kids and I did not want to do it unless surgery was a definite go. And I had been approved! Yikes. This is getting real. Tomorrow I go to my PCP to get my surgical clearance and then that's it. WOW. I am scared, nervous and ready!! Now to get the remainder of things for the Pre-Op diet, do my measurements, before pics, get some food made and frozen for DH and the kids.
  19. I am pre-op, but that is what an anxiety attack feels like.
