Zombie Apocalypse… with sleeve?

Recommended Posts

So, I have just begun the insurance process to have my sleeve surgery! And I'm very very anxious and excited to have it done :)

But… what if in the future there's a zombie apocalypse?? Right? Please tell me I'm not the only one that had this run though their mind :)

Like what if you have a limited supply of food and when you have to eat you need to be able to eat a lot and store your food sort of? I'm just sayin…

I guess at least I'll be in better shape to run away from them though!

he he he you're funny!

I'm a fan of the genre as well.

Always gotta have your zombie contingency plan, right?!?! lol

But yes, I think that being of a healthy weight and more physically fit is a better state to be in -- in ANY case (not just zombie apocalypse). But if there were zombies.... you'd be able to run faster & jump higher.

LOL

And if you're in a group of people, remember you don't have to be the fastest person, you just have to be faster than the slowest person. ha

I thought about this. A lot.

I think this is saving us in the event of the zombie apocalypse.

food will be in short supply. We can survive on less.

Sleevers will be the survivors. Done. I paid my deposit the next day. Cut me open doc.

Let's do this.

You forgot one of the most important lessons from Zombie Land - The 1st to go were the fatties.

Rule 1: Cardio: This one comes up in Zombieland and clearly makes alot of sense. How many fat people do you see at the end of the world when its zombies.

This thread is so awesome! And Joatsaint had it right! The 1st to go were the fatties. The next thing to do is go to CA and get some good makeup and blend in like Bill Murray.

Well, first we need to establish what kinds of zombies we'll be facing. Are we talking fast zombies, slow zombies, herds, solos... Each potential zombie horde will impact how we should approach it. I suggest stockpiling Protein heavy rations just in case. How long does Jerky last, anyone know?

Oh I've got a total whack job survivalist friend... he says he can make jerky that can last me 5+ years!!

Now that I say that I realize it seems odd that this has recently come up in conversation... but it is what it is... hahaha

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
