Calling all 1 year sleevers

Recommended Posts

I'm getting sleeved next week. I'm wondering if after all this time, if you go to the movies can you tolerate a tiny or little amount of popcorn? Is there any indulging at all? I don't mean sitting down and eating a whole pint of ice cream. I'm talking having 2 Cookies or a cup of popcorn at the movies. Not every day. Anyone out there with answers?

Unfortunately, popcorn is a notorious slider. Therefore I can sit and eat a bunch of it. I really didn't care for it before, but I can eat is endlessly I think I crave it because I can eat a lot of it.

Yes when you're healed you can incorporate some treats here and there. I'm a popcorn fan, and share when I go to the movies. I actually eat the 100 calorie bags a few days a week!

Yes I enjoy popcorn at the movies. I actually do get restriction with it so I eat what I want and I'm satisfied.

I enjoy eating something I love and being able to control the portions.

You will love your sleeve.

The fat girl in me is thrilled with this new info! So scary tho. So, I have a question. It seems like there are a lot of people that barely go over and mess up just a tiny bit and gain weight. The fat me can get away with so much that it really scares me to think I might splurge on too many blueberries and gain 2 lbs!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
