Hello!! Ingot sleeved on Saturday feb 16th and today I woke up shaky and feeling weak. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong? Did this happen to anybody out there?

This happens to me if I did not get enough Protein or fluids the day before, if you did though I would call your dr to be safe.

Typically - Low blood sugar, dehydration and low consumption of Protein. Give your Dr or Nutritionist a call and see what they say.

How many Protein shakes would u drink per day??

You should be following what your Dr. told you for your Protein consumption. Every Dr. does it differently. Typically it is between 40-60 grams of protein. Doesn't have to be all shakes unless you are on liquids only.

Happened to me about 4 days post op. Some Protein helped tremendously. But when in doubt check with your surgeon and nut :)

Minnie, premier Protein seems to be a winner on the boards. I love them as well.

I have had this same problem for 5 weeks. But I was unable to get fluids or food down, only around 2 oz at a time. My surgeon just did an EGD yesterday to stretch open parts of my sleeve that had narrowed too much. Trying increasing your Fluid and Protein intake that should help.

Minimum is 50 grams.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
