Arrived bright and early at OCC. nice facility. Lots of waiting. Saw dentist, nutritionist, cardiologist and had my band x-rayed to make sure there werent complications. Now in my private room. It's 10:40 and got here at 7. So be prepared to wait!

Room is nice and comfortable. I think bathroom is down the hall. No idea where in the surgery queue I am but they are doing a heavy load today - 7. I was told they do 6 but today is 7. Nit overly thrilled about that. Haven't met the doc yet.

Yep doing the solo route. And still waiting. Bring stuff to do! If you're lucky and first that may not be necessary, but I've been entertaining myself for five hours

So sorry about the wait. It is very hard once you are there and ready but it will happen. I was prepped and ready also, but the one surgery before me ended up with some serious complications so the surgeon was delayed. I told them that when he was finished, to take a snack/coffee break ...that a few more minutes would not hurt! Good luck and hang in there! This too shall pass. . Im betting we see a postop post from you before the evening is over!

Thinking of you! Hope the surgery went well! Be prepared to wait when you come back to get your barium swallow and drain removed too! I think I waited 3 hours that day! It was worth it to get the drain out though! Keep us posted when you feel up to it! :-)

I can imagine. Can you call for anyone to give you some info?

I know you're aggravated especially since you've been there since early this am. Your turn is coming. Soon it will all be behind you.

Oh that's just so frustrating! Soon it will all be a distant memory, while you're thin and energetic.

I hate this is happening. Try not to get yourself worked up. Just keep telling yourself this is what you have been anticipating for months and by tomorrow it will all be complete. Take care and rest. Get ready for the new you!! I will be praying and thinking about you. It's been a little while since your last post. So I am assuming your in surgery.

6:30 and still waiting I apparently am the very last surgery after everyone is exhausted for the previous 6 ops. Being a band conversion doesn't make me confident in this. The tone is not set well.

Oh my goodness I know it must be Frustrating. Just stay positive it will help in the end.
