New whey protein shot 42g

Recommended Posts

I have been reading a bunch of threads on here and it seems everyone has there own opinion on them. I looked at the ingredients in it but to be honest I have no idea what I'm looking at...... All I know is a lot of people seem to be saying they are not good for you and I would like to know for sure, I have been using them, they were on the list my doctor gave me of supplements that are good for you......

Can't address what's in the shots, but my surgeon told me the day he released me from the hospital that the human body can only process about 20 grams of Protein at a time. He discouraged taking in more.

I've seen Liquid Protein shots made of desiccated animal parts and they were a new level of nasty. If these are made somehow from whey that would be amazing.

It doesn't matter if they are made from the right kind of Protein anyway. Your body can only process about 20g of protein at a time so buying something (which are the nastiest things on the planet by the way) with 42g of protein just makes no sense. You are just wasting half of it.

Split it in half? But either way I ain't going the nasty route ;-)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
