February Sleevers

I'm set up for February 4th. Seems like forever away. People keep telling me, "oh don't worry". It bugs me cause I'm not worried. What seems to keep popping in my head is, am I doing the right thing.

I would like to here what others are thinking, going through.

My Doctors plan is two days preop clear liquid, not 10 like I've been reading on here. Anyone else similar?

Thanks,

Kimo

Sending a prayer your way!

I'm also on my way. Arrival time is 7:30 eastern. Less than an hour. Good luck to all my fellow sleepers today ! :)

Oh I mean SLEEVERS ! Lol

My surgery is on the 19th at 2pm. I cant believe its so close. Im anxious' date=' excited and extremely calm at the same time. Crazy, right? Im in NY and having procedure done by dr vohra.[/quote']

I was banded on the 14th and had a 7 day liquid diet. I went through the same anxiety and fears. I came very close to completely calling it all off. I think my emotional roller coaster was worse the week before than it has been after. Luckily my husband was there and helped talk me off the ledge. Just remember you deserve to be healthy and if you could do it on your own you would have done it already. You are worth it!!!! Good luck and you have all of us here for support. :)

Omg! That is exactly how i feel. I kinda got over the anesthesia part after my endoscopy. But, its the feeling of nausea or vommiting that im worried about. I cheated everyday on my liquid diet and my surgery is tmrw at 2p. I know so many people from work that had this done recently and they all had different experiences. Ughhhh!!!!

For the nausea, ask the nurse to give you several alcohol swabs. For immediate relief open swab and put and keep under nose for a few minutes. Every time I received my morphine dose I had horrible nausea my nurse offered this to me. She was my godsend.

Good luck to everyone this week being sleeved. You'll do great.

On my way to the airport... Tijuana here we come. Sleeve is tomorrow mourning!!! Couldn't be soon enough!! Good luck to all Sleevers this week.

Have a safe flight!!
