  8. I am supposed to stay on liquids but h e failed miserably. I am 12 days post op but I started eating puréed foods after 1 week. My body told me I needed to. I was so weak and I could not stomach the protein shakes so I had absolutely no energy. I have been blending soups and eating cottage cheese and I actually have some energy now. I have to see my NUT on Wednesday but I don't know if I should even tell her I haven't been in liquids:(.
  9. Thanks! I called today to make sure this was normal and she said if the shortness of breath gets bad to go to the er. It's not Terrible i just can feel my heart beating out of my chest lol. She said to try different protein shakes but they just make me want to vomit! I puréed some cottage cheese and that will be a little protein anyways. I think I will try warming some hot water with lemon and maybe that will go down better. Hope your doing better

  13. I'm on day 6 post op and I don't feel much better today than any other day. My inductions are fine I am just still having a hard time getting anything down. They fixed my hyatial hernia but others on here don't seem to have the problems . I just wanna feel good again. I'm supposed to go back to work tomorrow but just taking a shower leaves me short of breath and exhausted. Please someone tell me it gets better ....
  14. I too was sleeved on Monday and am finding it very difficult to get any protein in. The supplements I got from my nut make me sick just smelling them. I can drink chocolate milk ( even though I shouldn't be) and I bought some baby food but I cannot stomach those chocolate shakes and gelatin. How bad is it if I cannot get my protein in? And the gas......omg don't get me started!
