I had mine on the 17th and I haven't had 1 did the milk of magnesia make me so sick with the taste of it... felt my mouth salivating ...... seems like the whole pre op diet only had 1 first week of the pre op diet.....don't think I've had 1 for a week before the operation.... had a few pebbles at the hospital but I thought that's what is giving me such a bad headache being constipated......but I don't know what to do... guess I'm about ready to get the garden hose daddy says...lol

My surgery was done on the 17th of December and I did the pre op diet for 2 weeks only had 1 bowel movement that first week....... only because I took a laxative .....I'm probably pretty constipated they did a suppository at the hospital that's what I had caused a few pebbles when I got home I did duclox laxatives... today 2 teaspoons of milk of magnesia this morning and still nothing... maybe it's all the drugs I was given in the hospital didnt take that much pain medication was in there for 3 days after the surgery......

Well I will try milk of mag and see what happens! That last BM was when I was in pre op and I think that was because of the antibiotics they gave me!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
