HELP! eating more-gain weight still, 1.5year after pregnancy, AND PROZAC for depression.....

Recommended Posts

After sleeved lost almost 40 Kilos. My pregnancy add to my, after sleeve weight 17Kg, but i suffered major post-birth depression. My stomach gut bigger during pregnancy but almost 2 years after, i 'm still eating bigger portions. Everything has changed, HOW CAN I GO BACK TO OLD DAYS??? After pregnancy continue gaining weight, probably because of dipression and Prozac. Eating only sweets for comforting...

I have to reduse my stomach capacity again.

I'm feeling so sorrow for goin back to those days that food ruled my life.

I'm seeing a psycologist for depression, hoping to find the real reason for my gluttony(?)

HELP!

P.S. Sorry for the bud spelling, i'm not using english writing very often.

Sstart with modifying your diet. Less carbs, Protein only meals or replace with a shake. More fluids! You know you can do it, you've done it before!! Some people do the sleeve or pouch test to shrink the sleeve. There is also an operation called stomaphyx that can reduce size of sleeve if yours is truly stretched. Wish you all the best!

Yup, I'd recommend a complete reset. Go back like you just had surgery and progress through the stages. Watch those sugars.

Stay away from sugars & starches for (at least) a few weeks. These foods stimulate the same receptors in your brain that drugs & alchohol do for their addictions. The stimulate cravings for more starches & sugars.

If you can get away from them for a few weeks you'll notice the cravings will be greatly reduced.

Antidepressants also put weight on, so you are dealing with another issue all together. Go back to the basics, and don't be so hard on yourself. YOU CAN DO IT!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
