Recommended Posts

Date sleeved: 8/24

Start weight: 348

Surgery Date Weight: 333

Weight today: 276

What you eating and how much daily: Protien mostly, still trying to do a shake daily, Struggle to get my Water in (I Love coffee and Tea with Equal)

Daily work out: Nothing yet

How hungery are you?: not very hungry at all

How you feel physically: I feel great.

How you feel emotionally: I am so happy I have lost what I have...it is scarey how much more I have to lose. I just hope I can make it...My goal is 150

Are you glad you chose the sleeve?: OMG YESSSSS!!!

Anything extra to say?: There is no way I could have lost as much as I did without the sleeve BUT it is work. It is easy to snack on chips/popcorn/cookies...that stuff goes down so easily :( I have to plan my days and really try to get my water in. I do worry I won't make it to goal with so much more to lose...I haven't started exercising yet. I know I need to!!!

We are really close in our stats, my surgery was 08/07/12. I've just started my exercise program at the beginning of the year. That is the hardest part! Good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
