HELLO I AM DAY 6 I WOKE UP FEELING GOOD BUT AFTER MY SHOWER AND FIX MY Breakfast I FEEL SO SICK RIGHT NOW I CANT EVEN DRINK MY BREAKFAST, I HAD TO TAKE A NAUSEA PILL. LAST NIGHT WAS RUFF I MUST SAY. I THINK I STRESSED THE MAIN INSISION AND IT BOTHERED ME ALL NIGHT THE ACHE WENT ALL THE WAY TO MY BACK. YES I WAS SCARED BUT I KNEW I WOULD BE OK. I THINK I AM HAVING A REACTION TO TRADER JOES SPICY BLACK BEAN Soup, KEY WORD SPICY LOL.

I WAS ABLE TO GET MY 60 GRAMS OF PROTIEN IN AND I THINK THAT MADE ME SICK AS WELL I WAS FORCING IT BUT I COULDNT FINISH IT NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRIED LOL.

I HOPE EVERYONE WHO HAS HAD THE SURGERY IS DOING WELL. PLEASE SHARE YOUR PROGRESS SO WE CAN LEARN FROM EACH OTHER.

I'm frustrated! I'm 15 days out from surgery. I have not lost any weight for two days. I've actually put back on almost a pound. I am only getting another 40 grams of Protein about 60 total oz of Fluid. I'm feeling a lil bit depressed even. I walk everyday. Get up and get out everyday. I haven't taken a day for 11 days. I sleep good all night,,, I go back to work Monday I think that will help me a lot.

It's not that I'm hungry but I miss eating. My surgery day weight was 197 I gained 7 pounds in the hospital and I am at 186 today.

Tell me I'm gonna be okay .. I keep worrying about embolisms and stomach leaks. Maybe I'm reading to much on here. Look at me enabling on and on.... I'm just having a weird day I guess.. Sorry to sound so gloomy.

It looks like we have similar stats -I would like to lose about 70lbs. - I think the less you have to lose the slower it goes. Also, I had a dream about a leak last night (I had surgery on 9/10)- so you are not alone on the worrying. I am moving to soft foods and I think that will help some. I now know that sweets are a no-go for me - a few bites of soft serve ice cream and I had an adverse reaction!

@Toyaboo22: Oh wow! You just made my heart sink reading your post. I guess I shall stop complaining right now. I have NOTHING on you my friend. I am so sorry you are having to deal with your health PLUS family issues. Very sad on the family stuff...wow. Did you go to the ER where you had your surgery? Could this be why he is not coming to the hospital? Are you at a different hospital or one that he does not have privileges at maybe? If you are at a different facility maybe you can ask for a transfer to a facility he attends at? He NEEDS to see you! That is ridiculous. I hope they can get everything straightened out. Keep us posted.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to give you an update on me since I haven't commented lately. I have been in intense pain the last two weeks and haven't been able to eat or drink anything. I would wake up extremely naseuous and felt like nothing would stay down. I had additional pain from no bm and was told by the surgeon's office to talk a bunch of enemas' date=' smooth move tea, magnesium citrate, mom .... I took them and nothing happened. Two days ago, I started vomitting uncontrollably and had sharp pains. Although I felt I needed to really go to the ER, I didn't b/c we recently had an issue in the family where my nephews mother drowned them (2) and killed (hung) herself. SO I wanted to make sure I was able to make it to the funeral and wake which was this weekend. I went to the wake last night and couldn't take the pain anymore and came to the hospital. While I'm thinking I was just dehydrated and constipated b/c of that it , it turned out to be more. I have several blood clots that have developed and this is what caused me to have all of my symptoms. I have one in my liver, stomach, and leg. I've been really scared b/c they keep sending in doctor after doctor and no one is giving me any answers. They put me on blood thinners and say I might have to have additional surgery. They don't know how long I might be in here either. They tried calling my surgeon and I have been told he refuses to come to the hospital so I'm not sure what that is all about. They immediately had to remove my Mirena iud and are 90% sure that the clots come from surgery since their primarily in the stomach, liver, and intestines. I'm no longer constipated since they gave me the fluids last night but they been took me off them and I haven't eaten all day. I think I took 2 or 3 sips of water. Wow, you are in my prayers, I haven't had complications like that but did have to go back in last week for dehydration & that wasn't fun @ all - i had left side pain as well that is just now starting to subside... I feel your pain & I pray they figure out what is goin on & I'm not understanding why your Dr is unwilling to come to the hospital since he is the one that performed your surgery, you'd think he would have been the 1st one there... Please keep us posted...

So sorry for the loss in your family, especially of how tragic it was... That's very sad to hear - well you & your family are in my prayers & someone needs to demand that your Dr be present... Keep your faith girl...

First day of puréed foods. I cooked off a chicken in the crockpot for my family and puréed some for me with a little mayo. Surprising how fast it made me full. Made 2 oz and could only eat about 1/2. Tasted so good. Nice to have something not sweet and with good flavor. Hoping I can get my fluids in with not drinking before and after a meal. I think that is going to be the hardest part for me.

Its my first day of pureed food...still thinking what to make...a lil anxious...maybe some lentils...or eggs...lets see...

Ugh feeling so gross today. Woke up fine took my nexium and waited for about an hour and tried a chewable multi vitamin and threw up. Ewww guess I should've waited till after I ate something. Now I feel shakey. I'm going to check my blood sugar to see what's up.

I just had a few bites of soft serve and it is awful. In about 10 minutes I started feeling nauseous and threw up. Now I have diarrhea and the shakes with sweating. I got online to see what is going on. Oy vey. That cured me of sweets.

So don't feel guilty, feel fortunate that you didn't have my reaction.

Sounds like dumping to me. I had a cookie and its too sweet for my sleeve now and i was super nauseous and had diarrhea within like 10 min..not that its a bad thing as it will keep me away from sweets.
