I like to put the Chocolate Protein in my decaf coffee. I don't use any sweeteners or anything so it isn't very sweet.

I add black decaf coffee for that mocha flavor. Makes the protein drink palatable

I mix mine with half Hood carb countdown and half Water.

I use Matrix from Sytrax. Very low calorie, very low carb. then I add the sf syrups. I like

toasted marshmallow, coconut, peppermint, and hazelnut. Next I plan to try ammarito (sp?)

I have banana cream, chocolate, vanilla, and orange cream by Matrix. They are all good.

I just had a scoop of chocolate Protein powder, 1 frozen banana & 1 cup of almond plus milk (vanilla). (blended like a shake)

Yummo!!! 31 grams of protein.

All of these ideas sound very good. May try one each week. ;)

Keep 'em coming :D

How much syrup do you use? I know most people say to taste but I never know where to start.

Thanks.

Where do you buy the powdered Peanut Butter?

Amazon.com

I get the PB2 at my grocery store in the health food section. I also found it at a Total Health store that sells exercise equip and Protein powder etc...

for the syrup I just pour in a couple of glugs Lol.. probably a tablespoon or so???

Honestly, if I had to guess, I would say like a shot glass. I just pour a bunch in.

I know you can get PB2 at vitacost.com They have everything there. I keep telling people about that website, because any time I am looking for anything, they have it.

And, their shipping is free if you order $49 which is easy to do. I get my oh yeah Protein bars there, all my Vitamins and supplements, and my protein powders.

You will chuckle, but my favorite is chocolate Avocado pudding. It's best when you are 3-6 months out, depending on your doctor's allowance of fats and some carbs. All in moderation, you won't be able to eat as much as you might think, but it's great for sharing. My husband scoffed at first, now he's asked me to make it multiple times!

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium-large avocado, soft and ripe
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened, dark cacao (chocolate) powder
  • 1 tbsp REAL HONEST TO HEAVEN maple syrup
  • 6 tablespoons milk (coconut, cow or any type of milk you prefer)
  • 1-2 scoops chocolate Protein powder

Instructions

  1. Cut avocado in half and remove pit. Scoop out flesh and put in in the blender along with remaining ingredients. Add Protein Powder last after a few pulses.
  2. Process until smooth, occasionally scraping down sides. Serve immediately or refrigerate until you're ready to serve.
