I had my surgery in Thursday, all I took to the hospital was my phone lol.... The day before surgery was just a regular day, I didn't even feel like I was getting surgery it was really odd... Goodluck to you! My pain only lasted a few days and I'm heading back to school tomorrow!

I will be joining you on the 5th. I took Tuesday off so i would not be tempted to cheat on my liquid day. Good luck Wednesday. My prayers are with you.

I was told to bring Mylicon drops if you cant do gas x (I'm bringing both!)... I'm mag citrate right now and I can barely stomach it-- it's horrible!! Wish I'd been on liquids now lol I'm also a nervous wreck! Hoping I chill out soon haha

Gas x strips

i was told that those did nothing since the gas is around our organs and not IN the organs. the Gas X only helps that and not the gas they put into our bodies...if that makes sense??

The only thing i do have to do is wash my tummy 2 times a day today and tomorrow and then once on Wednesday with this hexaclense stuff. It basically just kills any germs and helps prevent any infections. I have to call tomorrow to get my time for the surgery and its really hitting me now. For those of you going in tomorrow....see you on the losers bench!! :)

I'm amazed at how different each surgeon's requirements are. I'm scheduled for surgery this Wednesday and I've not had to do a lot of the things that I see others writing about. The only thing I have to do is be on a clear liquid diet tomorrow and take a Levaquin pill, as well as shower right before I leave for the hospital and wash really well with anti-bacterial soap. I didn't have any extended pre-op diet nor do I have to drink magnesium citrate. I wonder why things are so different for each surgeon?

Anyway, for everyone who has surgery this week...you're in my thoughts and prayers and I hope everything goes smoothly for each of you!

And if you have access to an eye mask and ear plugs, they certainly help with getting some much needed rest in the hospital!! :)
