Surgery went well. Only true pain was from main incision. My blood pressure was up and i ran a temp. Didn't think i was going to be able too come home but when they gave me medicine for my bp and switched me from the morphine to liquid vocodine, i felt much better. I was just discharged and on my way home

I am on my way to the hospital now. I guess it is official. Don't know how i feel...nervous, nauseous...hungry..lol

You guys are all gonna do great! I just wanna say that I'm 2 weeks 3 days post op. I'm doing puree I have 2 more days til soft food and I swear it hasn't been that bad. Since surgery I have not been hungry. I got bored with liquids but I was never hungry. Also, I have had a very positive experience, no nausea, i've tolerated everything i've tried, no unbearable pain only sore the first week and now I have one spot that is tender. I went back to work in a pediatric doctors office 10 days after surgery. The hardest part was is getting all my water in. I wish you guys the best! Stay postive and keep us posted!

Everything is going well, the only issues I'm having is increased bp and blood sugars, I think it all related to stress though. I don't remember a thing about surgery. I woke up with a cather in and a jp drain. I have a pca for pain and zofran for nausea, to my suprise I've only been mildly nauseated and no vomitting! Don't have any gas pains yet! My Incision were closed with glue, therefore, I can take a shower right away. So far so good, will keep you all posted.

Hi everyone I did great with my surgery. It only took 1.5 hours for the whole procedure no problems with scar tissue after having my band 10 years to God be the glory.
