  1. Surgery went well. Only true pain was from main incision. My blood pressure was up and i ran a temp. Didn't think i was going to be able too come home but when they gave me medicine for my bp and switched me from the morphine to liquid vocodine, i felt much better. I was just discharged and on my way home

  7. Hello, i was banned in 2007 and o will be sleeved 9/5. As the tome is coming closer, i am getting nervous. Does anyone regret having the band replaced with the sleeve. Btw, i was not successful at all with the band. Same issue with throwing up and slimming and not being able to eat the right food, always hungry, etc.
  8. Let me also add that i currently have the Lap-band and my doctor removed some of the fluid so i can actually keep food down. I haven't been able to really enjoy a meal since 2007.
  9. I am scheduled to be sleeved on September 5th and i stay hungry. I am trying to prepare my body and get into the right mindset, but it is so hard. My doctor doesn't require a preop diet just liquids 24 hours before surgery, but i wanted to start early and i can't get my mind right or my stomach....please help. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
  10. I am so happy for you. I pray that I am as lucky as you.
  11. I was banded 11/07/07 and had no reall success with the band. I am getting sleeved 9/5/12. I am nervous of the surgery, but after reading many of the revision stories, I know I need this band out before I began to have serious issues. Good luck with your surgery. Please keep us updated with your progress.
  12. Hello, my surgery date is September 5th also with Dr Nunn. He performed my lap band surgery and he is great. Good luck with your surgery.
  13. My surgeon is Dr. Andre Nunn at Barix Clinic in Ypsilanti. This is the doctor that placed my band in 2007 and will be doing my sleeve 9-5-12.
