Stalling Still

Recommended Posts

Do a search for three week stall. Just about everyone goes through it. Normally it doesn't last but a few weeks. Mine lasted 3 months.

It's your body trying to adjust, or find equilibrium, as I normally put it. Don't try to "fix" it - just be patient. Changing up a bunch of things to try and "fix" it could make it worse. If you hit 5, maybe 6 weeks of stall then start reviewing what you're doing. But until then just keep up your hydration and Protein. It will pass, guaranteed.

Read the link to the article in my sig. It will explain why the scale isn't moving. Initially your body was just burning all your excess glycogen stores, along with quite a bit of Water weight. After 3 weeks or so your body starts to replenish all that glycogen along with all that water. It has to for you to have any energy. But it has nothing to do with your fat content. You're still burning fat, but the water gain is equalizing your weight. Soon the water and glycogen reserves will be restored and your weight will begin to fall.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
